How much does a new roof cost in Conroe?

Are you licensed?
Texas doesn't issue a state license for roofers, so the things that protect you are insurance and registration. Work arranged through this site is performed by insured crews carrying general liability and workers' compensation; the certificate is sent before work begins. Ask every roofer for one.
Do I need a permit?
In the City of Conroe, not for a straight re-roof — only if decking or rafters are replaced, and then we pull it. Unincorporated Montgomery County doesn't permit re-roofs. Shenandoah, Oak Ridge North, Willis, Montgomery, Magnolia and Panorama Village have their own rules; we check the address.
Do you really answer 24/7?

Is the inspection really free?
Yes — roof and attic, photographed, with a written report that's yours whether or not you hire us. A formal report for a home sale or renewal without any work is $175.
Will you meet my insurance adjuster?
Yes, on the roof at their appointment. We document, you decide whether to file; we don't waive deductibles (illegal in Texas), act as a public adjuster, or sign doorstep contingency contracts.
Can you waive my deductible?
No. Texas Business & Commerce Code §27.02 makes it a crime for a contractor to waive, absorb or rebate a deductible, and your carrier can withhold depreciation until you show you paid it.
Is a Class 4 roof worth it?
For almost anyone staying five years or more: it survives typical Montgomery County hail and earns a Texas wind-and-hail premium discount, commonly $150–$500 a year. Details.
How long will my roof last?
Standard architectural shingle 18–25 years in Texas heat, Class 4 25–30, standing seam 40–60. Ventilation, trees and hail decide which end. Details.
