How we earn a good review
We show up when we said. We tell you whether the roof needs work or doesn't. We leave a written price and don't change it. We meet the adjuster if you've filed, build the roof with the underlayment and flashings and ridge vent it needs, sweep the yard with magnets, and hand you the warranty and the Class 4 form. If something isn't right, we come back and fix it — no argument.
Check the insurance, because Texas doesn't check the license
Texas has no state roofing license, so the two things that protect you are insurance and reputation. Ask any roofer for a certificate of general liability and workers' compensation insurance — a roofer hurt on your property without it becomes your problem — and for references in the county you can call. The Roofing Contractors Association of Texas (RCAT) runs a voluntary licensing program that's a good sign when you see it. We send our certificate before we start.
