Terms of service

The plain-language terms behind every estimate and job.

Who we are

Conroe Roof Works is a locally operated roofing service for Conroe and Montgomery County, Texas. Roofing work is performed by insured roofing crews carrying general liability and workers' compensation insurance; a certificate of insurance is provided on request before work begins. Texas does not license roofing contractors. See our referral marketing disclosure for how projects are assigned.

Estimates and inspections

Roof inspections are free. Estimates are itemized and valid for 30 days. Prices on this website are typical 2026 Montgomery County ranges for planning only; your written estimate governs.

Insurance claims

Where work is paid in part by an insurance claim, the homeowner files and controls the claim and remains the policyholder. We document damage, meet the adjuster at the owner's request and build to the approved scope. We do not waive, absorb, rebate or offset deductibles or offer anything of value in exchange for a claim, consistent with Texas Business & Commerce Code §27.02; we do not act as a public adjuster; and we do not use contingency agreements.

Permits and approvals

Where a permit is required by the city, it is obtained and listed on the estimate, and work is scheduled after issuance. Homeowner-association and architectural-review approvals are the owner's responsibility; we supply the samples and specifications the committee asks for and submit the application when requested.

Contracts, deposits and payment

Work begins on a signed written agreement. A deposit at signing covers materials ordered to your roof; the balance is due on completion. Financing, when used, is approved before work starts. Nothing is paid to crews on site.

Warranties

Manufacturer warranties are registered in the owner's name and have their own terms. The workmanship warranty is stated on the agreement. Warranties do not cover damage from storms beyond the roof's rated performance, from other trades, or from unpermitted alterations.

Scheduling and weather

Roofing is weather-dependent; dates are targets. We do not open a roof when rain is forecast within the working window, and we dry in every day.

Disputes

Texas law applies. Complaints go first to us in writing; we'd rather fix it than argue about it. Consumer complaints may also be made to the Texas Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division.

Hail season starts in March. Get the roof looked at first.
